I’m Joan Concilio, a Pennsylvania native currently living in Arizona. I love science, medicine, technology, martial arts, writing, editing, unschooling and geeking out.
I have more than 20 years of experience as a print and digital media professional, with a focus on web development, WCAG accessibility, project management, writing and editing, community-building, workflow improvements and customer service. And in my spare time, I’m a second-degree black belt, abstract artist, postcard-sender, nonprofit founder, scrapbooker, Scrabble player, jigsaw-puzzler and stuffed-animal collector.
