Mania: Free Radicals, a piece of nonfiction prose, was selected as a winner in the 2014 YorkFest adult literary competition; I read it aloud during the Aug. 22, 2014 reception.
At the same event, Tsunami Relief, one of my original acrylic ink on Yupo pieces of art, was chosen by the juror to be part of the adult juried art display.
That work was on display at YorkArts, 10 N. Beaver St., York, from Aug. 14 to Sept. 13, 2014.
